New Headphones

I wouldn't call the V-Moda on the list junk, but everything else especially the Tiamat is absolute garbage. Considering he thinks the Tiamat is so great, I highly doubt he has ever used the M-100 anyway.

Good, don't. You made yourself look like a complete idiot on top of being a jackass.

And just for some actual information for the future, 7.1 speakers work the way they do because there is enough distance between them and your ears to form a proper "field" of sound (we're talking at several feet from you), alongside some other intricacies that may be out of your scope judging by your lack of knowledge.

The DT770 will offer a lot, but considering your mention of bass + gaming (particularly CS), I would say look at the DT880 or DT990 instead. The 880 is semi-open while the 990 is open. If you went with the 770 though for the closed aspect, I think you will be happy with it, plenty o' bass to go around.

Ok thanks for the help, I will take a look at those.

Edit: The 880 and 990 are a bit too much over budget so I am probably just going to go for the 770

I don't have any suggestions. It sounds like the OP wants a lot of bass, and there simply aren't a lot of great over-ear options at this price point ($150 USD) that I know about.

The DT770 Pro 80 ohm could be a contender, but if an amp is needed in the equation that takes things out of budget again.

the tiamat USES NO SOFTWARE

i own them you idiots

look at the fifth image

or just SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE

It uses DSP, though. All headphones require DSP to effect "surround" positioning. Yes, even multi-driver versions like the Shitamat.

What is the difference between the 80 ohm and 250 ohm?

The 80 ohm seems to have been tuned to have more bass, or else it is an emergent characteristic from the lower-impedance voice coil.

If you want absolute bass, go with XB-950BT. You can use it as a cabled headphone as well as bluetooth portable headphone.
