4k vs 144hz

hi guys i have a gtx 980 ti and  i am getting a new monitor and was just wondering wither i should get a 1080p 144hz gsync monitor or a 60hz 4k monitor

if you don't play fast response game like FPS, I would recommend you 4k 60hz for more visual experience pleasure.

fps and racing i like higher refreshrates............. you don't really need 144 imo. somewhere around 90-100 is good for me.

 

if your hardware is incapable and you don't play online competitively, a nice ips............

I would consider getting a 144hz or 1440p monitor before getting a 4k one.

depends on what games you play on it. If you play more casual games and just want to have fun, then 4k is best. If you play competitive e-sports titles, then 144hz all the freakin way

I was stuck between 144hz 1440p and 4K, going to get a 4k gsync monitor.

I would prefer 144hz 1440p for gaming if I had the choice.

I thought 4K 60FPS was the best thing ever but after you try 144hz G-Sync there is no going back
