Can linustechtips get a Discord server! This would be fantastic to have for the community. Users can come request/give help, game, hangout and watch Linustechtip videos all day!

Just in case, I prefer TS3 to Discord and we have two unofficial TS servers for LTT;

I know it isn't Discord, but until someone makes a Discord at least, you could use these.

We currently have no plans to implement an official TS/mumble/Discord/IRC chat due to the resources that would be required it keep it operational and properly moderated. But we do have a number of unofficial as @EChondo mentioned above :)

You're kidding, right?

Maybe now that Discord is a sponsor, you could actually figure out how it actually works...

He's talking about the need to moderate the server if it is marked as official, which is not something that we have the resources or desire to do. The unofficial servers are perfectly functional, and you are welcome to use them.

He did mention operational resources and moderation separately, so one would assume hardware/bandwidth/etc.
