Laptop under 1000€/1100$?

Hello, and thanks for reading this already!

 

A friend of mine is looking for a laptop under 1000$. He shall be programming and playing games like Minecraft, yet more games may be played later on.

It should be under 1000$ and have decent battery life. Weight isn't that much of an important factor.

Any suggestions?

I would stay away from Lenovo, their RMA support is absolute ass (they took 2 months to send a new laptop because they never fixed the first one)

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

Most people I've asked have been fine within 2 weeks
