And while,many people will probly already be typing ''OMG UR CPU IS OVERKOLKD,THE ODER IS STOCK!!!!!!'',lets not forget I got the 4350 for 80 euros,where as the 4460 here costs like 195 euros.

For low- to midrange builds AMD still is an excellent choice. I don't think anyone could objectively deny that.

What,the Intel or AMD one?I personally think,getting a bit better performance with a litle bit of OCing for 1/4 of the price to be a great deal.

 

 

Synthetic CPU benchmarks are different from real world performance mate ;) Slap a 980 in your system and you'll see!


I know,but because I know a lot of people in this forum really dont care and only go for benchmarks,really liked to point this out there.Also,lmao I wont be that stupid,a CPU this type,with a 980 will bottleneck.

CPU-Z bench is not the harbinger of performance. It ranks about the lowest on benchmarks that are indicative of anything performance related. Maybe after it goes through a few more iterations (v1 to v2 was a ridiculous jump) it can gain some traction as a decent bench.

 

If you wanted to show something really shocking pair the FX with a 980ti and prove it can't bottleneck it :lol:

the fx 9590 will get a better score in cpu-z than the i5 4690k(in multi-threadead performance),but an i3 matches the fx in gaming.Dont trust benchmarks

The performance boost you get by OC the 4350 is pretty nill.

 

You'd get better performance with an i3, about the same in even multi-threaded and multi-core applications.

 

The point of getting a "good deal" is that you are getting a better value, a better bang for your buck.

 

AMD's got nothing in the quad-core range that gives you a better value compared to Intel in any scenario.

As I stated in a reply a bit above,I knwo it will bottleneck.AFAIK the 4460 will limit the 980Ti too.

I disagree.AMD has both the Athlons like the X4 860K and the FX-4xxx series.While yes,the i3's and the G3258 can be bette rin games that either dont relly much on multithreaded performace or realy on 1 or 2 threads they WILL be better.But with games utilizing more and more cores,and games atleast requiring a quadcore to run,I think AMD Has the budget CPU game locked.Thats not to say Im saying that the i3's and G3258's arent better,they are,in some games and circumstances.

Again with this.Im running this very CPU on 4.5 GHz on 1.404 Volts.Highest ever temp was 61 degrees under AIDA64 stress testing.And yes,Im running a aftermarket cooler,anyone who has a clear mind will do that if he is OCing.CPUs like the 8350 and 9590 will hit high temps on stock coolers,but thats understandable.

The FX series CPU is very good for light gaming, CS, DOTA, LOL and so on. Pair that with a 960 and you have a very capable gaming system for popular games.

This puppy can run Metro Last Light on almost everything on highest,at 30-45 frames.With a 750Ti.

Personally I would like my ''inferior'' in some cases quad-core which is unlocked,rather than a locked ''superior'' in some cases i3.Again,here the 4170 is more expensive,and Im a budget guy,so AMD wins here.

I'm sorry to inform you that that picture is really deceiving. Look at the CPU-Z versions on the bottom, the first benchmark they put out scores lower across the board then the newer updated version.

Personally I would like my ''inferior'' in some cases quad-core which is unlocked,rather than a locked ''superior'' in some cases i3.Again,here the 4170 is more expensive,and Im a budget guy,so AMD wins here.

I mean if you just want the cheapest "quad-core" from AMD, then sure i can't argue.

Look at the version at the bottom, FX was done on the updated, i5 was done on the original benchmark, it's quite a difference as you can see in my link.

This puppy can run Metro Last Light on almost everything on highest,at 30-45 frames.With a 750Ti.

well it's a 750ti, get like a 770 or 970 or 290, 390 something higher, it will bottle neck it, the I 6100 vs an 8320 in single threaded performance, the i3 is 154% better than the 8320, and the 8320 is 151% better in multicore performance, in total that i3 is better, but not in games like gta 5 of course, but it shows a little bit how Intel atm is better, and when that guy said an AMD CPU is a toaster or space heater, I agree, because tdp is allot higher than Intels.
