  1. I have, a couple times. Was for the longest time on 361.xx, but I updated it when I got BF1 (it required an update to run). Currently running 376.33, but had issue on 375.xx too. Don't remember having issue on the older 361.xx, but it may just be a coincidence that I'm having the issues now since it has been an issue for the last couple versions of the driver.
  2. This is a newer issue for me. Games are freezing up, seemingly at completely random times. I pretty sure it's GPU related, but not sure what exactly is causing it. Sometimes I can play 3 hours fine, then random freeze. Sometimes 30 minutes fine, then random freeze. Sometimes it doesn't freeze at all... PC specs can be found in my profile. I've done away with my OC on my GTX680, it hasn't changed a thing. Temps don't seem to be an issue, according to HWMontior and GPUz I barely make it into the 60's. When it does freeze in game I have to Ctrl/Alt/

  4. Are these loaded with any built in ads trying to get you to buy the 'full version' or other extra BS like that? The simpler the program the better, the ladies in the office are far from tech savvy.
  5. Got some office PCs running Windows 7 Professional that are having trouble viewing images sent from other medical offices. Not sure if it's a compatibility error or what, but even a simple jpg wont open in windows picture viewer when trying to pull from a email attachment, zip, etc. Looking for just a good basic, and free, catch all program for viewing an assortment of image files. Obviously images created within proprietary medical software wont work, but at this point I just need basic file extensions to open properly. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. Nah, should be a gap between the 2 for proper dual channel. Should be using slots A2 and B2. EDIT: Found a manual for your motherboard just to make sure I wasn't giving you bad info, and yup A2 and B2: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/B150M_PRO_GAMING/E11309_B150M_PRO_GAMING_UM_V2_WEB.pdf?_ga=1.173205664.224398798.1472421099
  7. Those dimms sitting in slots next to each other? Are they slotted correctly for running dual channel? Looks good.
  8. @h4ns0n Got any plans for the old 730? Need a cheap single slot card for one of my optiplexs.
  9. Anyone have any luck pad modding a E4600 C2D up to 1066 FSB from 800 in an older Dell Optiplex without having to mod for a voltage increase too? More specifically a 330 with KP561 Board/G31 Express Chipset (ICH7R).
  10. You didn't mention hackintosh till your third post in this thread. You didn't provide the information till post #10 of this thread, can't get mad at people for missing something you didn't say. Anyways, the 950 should be a decent performer and good luck with your dual boot hackintosh/windows build. I've been considering turning an old Dell Optiplex I have into a hackintosh, but it seems like a fair amount of work (to get it ALL working correctly). That and it'd probably just still sit in my corner of PCs and parts collecting dust even if I did hackintosh it...
  11. People are recommending you wait on the 460 and 470 because they should be excellent price to performance contenders, beating out older cars from both companies (wait for release for confirmation obviously). You made no mention of a hackintosh in your original post. Quit acting like a douche to people that were giving you reasonable advice given your original post. Next time, maybe include a little more info in your post regarding your intended use. Oh, and of the 2, get the 950.
  12. So I got 2 Dell Optiplex 330 MTs (in great condition) for free today. Question is, what do I do with them? Mods?

@iHardware Shelden Windows 10?!? Are you saying that just doing a fresh install of Vista SP2 is a bad idea??? :D

Hackintosh would be interesting, though admittedly I never looked into it and don't know what all is involved in doing one.

Not much, you'll just need a capable GPU like a GT 630 or something (that's what I have in my 755)

I give these things to family friends who still have net burst p4 computers that can't do anything :P they run win7 with aero if you set onboard video memory to 128mb for the most part

  13. I'm gonna wait and see what the board partners do with the RX480, then probably go with one of them that has a good cooler (so I can overclock if i like). I can't see spending more money for what would be unused performance in the 490 and 1070. How far down the road? I too only game at 1080 right now and could only see me possibly making the the jump to 1440 over the next few years, both of which the 480 should handle, especially if overclocked. By the time I'm ready to upgrade to more display, they'll be some new card out there that I (and many others) will be lusting over.
