If you can get a 6600k it is better than a 4690k but the Z170 mobos and ddr4 is also considerably more xpensive. I would say get a 4960k.

DDR4 is dirt cheap right now, 8GB can be had for $40

Z710 motherboards are at their averaged prices for their time - great boards can be purchased for $150 or less.

People need to stop with the whole "dont go Skylake, dont go DDR4, dont do this its too expensive"

ITS NOT

4690K // 212 EVO // Z97-PRO // Vengeance 16GB // GTX 770 GTX 970 // MX100 128GB // Toshiba 1TB // Air 540 // HX650

Logitech G502 RGB // Corsair K65 RGB (MX Red)

if you live near a Micro Center you can get a 4790k for that much

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo

With the little amount of information you given us, we have given you all the answers we can think of.

If you want more satisfactory responses (which I assume you do given you asked this question the second time), it will be the best for all of us if you provided more information for your current situation. Which many of us have already asked for. Such as what you will be doing with the CPU for example.
