27" is too small for a curved monitor IMO.

I also think curved monitors are retarded, you only limit yourself on optimal viewing positions.

dont waste money on cruved monitors

http://gadgetshow.channel5.com/news/series-22-episode-2-jon-test-4k-tvs

test shows 4K curve only gives a short immersive span then it falls off after the hype ends

4K flat still wins the overall test

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Well yeah, curved tv's are rather dumb unless it's gigantic.

Monitors on the other hand not as much if at all.

actually it was mention in the video from the gadget show

the same image on a curve TV will look worse than a normal typical flat screen

maybe it because the OLEDs on the panel are twisted and are squashed together making certain areas of the screen brighter. and thus washing out the image

That sounds weird consider everything should be bent along with the screen.

If this really was the case I find it odd no one has mentioned it, like Linus.

he might need to compare it side by side

but it will be hard to find models which are either flat or curve based on the same screen size and brand

like i have a curved corner desk and i just wan a monitor for my new pc, for gaming and like graphics/rendering stuff

it way cheaper and more future proof
