gtx 970 or 980 for 1080p gaming

HFKoKoOo

You are spending a lot on your motherboard and RAM, spend less and get a better graphic card like the 980.

I would get a Z170A from Asus and a cheaper RAM kit for 100 dollars.

You can save up on you RAM (HyperX or G.skill can be less expensive than the one you have) and Mobo. 980 is a great card, I have it for a 1440p screen so it should be perfect for 1080p :)

Yes this IS correct. I would go for a 980 IMO to future proof yourself abit, although it is a bit overkill for 1080p for now.

I agree what is said above, you are spending loads on a motherboard and RAM and you dont need to, go cheaper on thoose and use that money to get a 980/(980Ti if you really wanted)

Intel I9-9900k (5Ghz) Asus ROG Maximus XI Formula | Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4-4133mhz | ASUS ROG Strix 2080Ti | EVGA Supernova G2 1050w 80+Gold | Samsung 950 Pro M.2 (512GB) + (1TB) | Full EK custom water loop |IN-WIN S-Frame (No. 263/500)

So you have no experience but argue with those who do, while asking for advice? Nothing about that says you may want to re think your position? Because you should.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
