Dual monitor set up help!

LewisManslow

So I'm getting dual monitors this christmas, to be specific i am getting two Samsung Ls24d590. I have a gtx 760 and i just wondered what i would need to do to set it up etc, i know how to setup dual monitors in Windows and stuff but when i come to physically plugging them in I'm a little confused. Could someone please help me by telling me if i need any adapters or anything and where to plug it in etc. Thanks a lot and sorry if i am coming across as a noob haha.

plug them both in to your GPU (it has 2 DVI outputs that will work nicely)

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

You will need two HDMI cables and an adapter to either DVI or DP

OR

One HDMI cable and an adapter to DVI

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

just plug then both into your GPU and that's it. then when you get on the desktop you can right click screen resolution and from there pick what is moniter 1 and 2 so when you mouse over to a certain side it goes to the other moniter how it should

Plug one with a HDMI cable into your GPU and Monitor
and
grab a DVI to HDMI adapter for the second monitor.

I think his main concern is that the monitors only accept HDMI and VGA input and his card only has one HDMI output.

Just buy an HDMI to DVI cable from Amazon. Shouldn't be more than a few dollars, I've purchased a couple of them over time.
