$49 for GTX 570 Worth or not ?

I found a Gainward GTX 570 for sale for $49

Is this a good deal or should I rather go for a more up to date card ?

You should be able to find a 270x, or something similar for almost the same price.

yeah a 570 is pretty slow now, if it was a 590 then hell yeah.

I'd even risk spending $49-90 on a used HD7950 (even a mining card considering the price) (I still have a HD7950 that was mined with, for $80 US, working fine still)

I'd avoid mining cards if possible though, there should be a wide selection of AMD cards that weren't used for mining; the 270x is quite old and many people are replacing it with newer hardware.
