DO I HAVE A TROJAN?

UnstableAdrian

I left my pc sit since Wednesday night because my internet was acting up. Now today is my first time using it since and here i come to find that YAHOO THE MOTHER FRIGGIN PIECE OF CRAP web browser is now my home page. When i even go to search for stuff on the address bar its directed to yahoo, someone out there wants to go to you know where. I thought i seen something weird while looking around my files but i cant remember.

this is what always shows up https://search.yahoo.com/?fr=hp-ddc-bd-tab&type=dc-bcr-sw-rhb-47__alt__ddc_dsssyctab_bd_com  is it an odd version of yahoo or is it legit and how do i remove it? i been trying.

Mind posting a screenshot of your Add/Remove Programs list, sorted by date Newest to Oldest?

What security software are you currently running?

Anything recently installed?  Often Flash or Java ask you on installation if you want to switch search providers...

To be certain of what's going on, I'd recommend a full MalwareBytes scan, after you run ADWCleaner.

Also, you can always try going to chrome://settings/resetProfileSettings and resetting your entire browser.

If I'm still around after my dinner, I'll check back to see where you're at.

Downloading malwarebyte right now guys!

UNINSTALL SearchMoreKnow FROM YOUR ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS

I shouldn't need to explain why. Just do it, then run ADWCleaner, then run MalwareBytes. In that order. And report back :D
