overclocking my philips 273v5(monitor)

Bananasplit_00

ok i have a philips 273v5 that i freaking LOVE 27" of 1080p, great color and 5ms(IIRC) response time, its at 60fps and i want to OC it to 75+ if it can hande it so whats the best way to do so, it cant do it on its own as far as i have seen but i know there are programs that can let you overclock it through them so witch is the "best" and how do i use it? i have seen people getting 120hz out of there monitors so i would love to see what this one can do!

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

If you have an Nvidia GPU, you can do it within GeForce Experience.  If you have an AMD gpu, there's a guide here.  http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/31526-overclocking-your-monitor-refresh-rate-amd-gpus/

LTT video if you have Nvidia:

How is the monitor connected to the pc?  VGA, DVI, HDMI or Display Port?  Are you trying to overclock to 61Hz or downclock to 1Hz?
