What would you say the best monitor brand is over all?

Adreyu

I'm just kind of curious to see what everybody thinks in their own opinions (or in fact if you can prove it) is the best maker of monitors. I'm partial to Asus myself, everything by them has been incredibly good quality for me.

What about you guys?

Dell

Asus

No, Dell

ASUS!

.-.

Both are equally really good. BenQ makes an excellent budget panel, but Dell and Asus make excellent high-end panels for both gaming and professional use.

BenQ is pretty good I think.

I was terrified by the BenQ reviews :[ Tons of dead pixel reports.  I've used Dells and LGs.  LG is A FUCKING MAZING. I was VERY surprised to not see LG listed already.

LG

Their $250 - $300 Ultrawade monitors seem to have the best of everything.

Dell and Eizo over the long term have regularly been fantastic monitor makers.

Asus, Acer, Benq are well known for being awful, and all the recent monitors from these companies show they are. If Dell had a 1440@144 IPS out now I would bought it over and above all these other companies, there is a reason they haven't released one and that is because the panel Asus and Acer are using is terrible and Dell wouldn't go near it.
