Hi All,

I'v been working on a PC upgrade after my old one died.

I have ordered most of the parts already, but I am wondering: would a 120GB SSD would be enough for a Windows 10 system drive. I probably would install larger programs onto a HDD instead of the SSD.

So thanks for reading guys, if this post sucked, I'm not sure what you can do, but if you liked it, go 'head and hit that like button, or maybe add me as a friend. definitely enough, tough i recommend getting a bigger one if you plan to play (new) games from it, as mine is already pretty much full after i installed Windows 10, Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 on it

Yes, more than enough, you could even throw some intensive applications on there like Adobe Premiere for faster load times.

120GB SSD is plenty, theres a few tricks to save on SSD space if you want to make sure it wont fill up as fast.

Yes

What would you guys suggest as a good SSD for an <%50 budget. I've seen these on newegg, for about the same price, whats your opinion?

i'm using a Sandisk one right now. speeds seem to be pretty good for the price, tough the build quality is pretty terrible. my sata connector on the SSD broke off after about a week of using it!

To be quite honest I would go with this, it's a little over your budget but these SSD's by Samsung are top of the line. I wouldn't buy the Sandisk one, they got caught bullshitting about the read / write speeds on one of their SSD's.
