I'd go 240. 120 is fine but i filled my 120 up pretty fast with bf3 and all the DLC.

240GB depending on the size of the games you intend to play.

A 120GB is quite enough if you don't stuff your games on it.

Ya just use a SSD for your boot, you should be good with 120gb. That's what i am using right now and i have Photoshop and all of that on there as well. I just use a 1tb hdd for everything else.

I had a 128GB, and with configuring it right, had used 15gb.

Then I added BF3, Shift2, Hawken, some selected steam games... Leaving 15-20Gb free

Then I bought a 256gb 840 Pro, All games now reside on that (its also faster than the other ssd), and c:\ now has plenty of leftover space. Used 25GB total now, W7 + Apps, not 98GB used like before...

128GB if you only have 1-3 games installed/playing

If you do more than that or dont like swapping data around a lot.. Just go more better with more bigger.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

When you say you're going to use the SSD for boot, LOL, and new games, do you mean that you want to put League of Legends on the SSD? Last time I played (a while ago), the match doesn't start until everyone has loaded, so it doesn't make sense to have it on an SSD when most other people have it on slower HDDs. There's no advantage to having your loading bar reach the end faster than everyone else's, so you'd be better off leaving the SSD space open for other things...

Anywhoo, I have a 120 GB SSD in my laptop, and I have it mostly full with several programs and games on it.. If you want to keep more games on the SSD, you may want to go bigger, but 120 GB is fine..

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

120GB. Mine is only half full and most of my programs and games are stored on the SSD. I only put games like Blacklight in the SSD because it has features that require a SSD.

I have 64 only for OS, Office and Adobe, but it is almost full already and it keeps increasing :(

Those dang Adobe cache files are a real pain.

240 seems like a good choice. Also, it would be A good start and then you can upgrade to something bigger in the future since the drives are only getting cheaper and faster.

for just your OS 120 would be fine, I install all my software on mine in addition to my OS and I still have half my drive free, I put games and music/pictures on two other HDD's.
