FF14:ARR

any opinion on the game? i am planning on getting it by next week, i am torn apart whether to resume playing Eve or FF14:ARR, i can resume playing Eve again and then farm ISK again to pay for the monthly subscription but i feel like playing FF14:ARR for the experience and fun of it.

 

if i were to get the FF14:ARR and its expansion, i'll get a free 2 months subscriptions.

I hated it at first, because of the Fate system. But then I noticed how easy it was to level with Fates and then they took it away and I quit. I did hear they brought it back a while ago but I haven't really checked it out again

Played it since Beta 4, great game, especially if you're into other stuff that are not only fighting, like crafting. Goes w/o saying that battles/dungeons/trials/raids, the fighting stuff, are great as well. I even like PVP (Seal Rock Seize).  One of the best communities I experienced. I had few breaks due to rl stuff but I'm gonna go back soon. Don't see the subscription as an issue, they launch many, and I mean many free updates, big ones going out every 3 months.

Also it's FFXIV Online as general name, ARR means that's was the version of the game, or story if you want at the time, now it's FFXIV: Heavensward
