Apple makes OSX which is superior to Windows in almost every way except gaming, and companies need competition to keep making good products (the same reason why it would be bad for AMD to go out of business even if nvidia's products were superior)

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

OSX is pretty bad D:

I don't see any reason for why I should use it over even Linux.

Yes, I tried it. Didn't really win me over.

I grew up on OSX, but I've been using windows for a few years and it has seemed pretty inferior to me other than the fact that games actually run on it. Some of my problems with Windows are:

  • Doesn't have a good browser built in
  • Randomly updates without permission
  • UI is worse (at least 10 improved it)
  • More crashes
  • Explorer is worse than Finder imo (why doesn't it have a duplicate button???????????????)
  • Doesn't use a unix terminal, and solutions to this (aka cygwin) are pretty shifty
  • APIs are fucked up (They work but the programming is really convoluted)
  • Better ease-of-use

Admittedly OSX has been going down the drain (iOS too) since Tim Cook took over though, we need another asshole like Steve Jobs.

Noice OSX facts :

  • OSX being unix based as you know, doesn't have the need for an autistic registry like Windows, that piles up with bullshit and requires maintenance every 1.2 femtosecond with CCleaner.
  • OSX doesn't BSOD every time you click on something, because OSX is not a pile of shit. 
  • OSX updates are clear, fast and error-free. Unless you were born with frypans as hands, you cannot fuck it up.
  • OSX is fun to use, because of it's closed ecosystem that guarantees you will get optimal performance out of your pricey aluminium machine. Combine that to the MBP's  wonderful trackpad that no other laptop will ever get, and you get a sublime machine that is fun to use, looks great and got exquisite battery life. 
  • Bonus : You can make fun of the poor !  just open your shiny slab of architectural magnificence and laugh at the peasants with their filthy HP's plastic trackpads while they try desperately to shove technical nonsense into your face, nonsense that you will swipe with 4 fingers in a lag free motion.
