Witcher3 could just be your cuppa T, and you don't know it yet.

Worth a look IMO if that style of gameplay interests you.

Witcher 3 is the perfect game. It has every aspect that you might possibly want- great combat, amazing story line, great characters, great graphics, lore, side quests. It certainly lacks the aspect of searching for stuff, like in Fallout 4 games but it's one of the best games I've ever played. When you'll finish the game in the best possible way you'll feel better about yourself and about the choices you made. It's a 10/10 game man, every gamer should own it. You're looking at 160h of gameplay if you play hardest difficulty and actually explore everything. Besides more DLC is coming with extra 20/30h. I don't want to play it again just yet since once you're hooked, it's too late :D

If you really want the best experience read the books.

If you want the absolute best experience, learn Polish, read the books in Polish and play the game in Polish. I loved all the books and the game just is better in  Polish. You might want to enable subtitles though :P Besides, Geralt's voice is SOOO much more bad ass in Polish. English just sound meh.

Played 2 hours or so, not impressed... there are better games IMO

Edit the graphics are stunning but playing games involves more than just looking at pretty pictures...

FO4 works 50% of the time - Witcher 3 works 100% :)

A lot of RPG games, especially open world ones, fail to maintain context through out your quests.

You end up just going to the dot on your map, never really knowing what you're doing or who you're doing it for.

But Witcher 3 circumvents this with innovative design and story telling. If you watch the generally interesting cutscenes, you will never loose context or motivation.

The quests all seem so natural, in the amazing world you'll want to keep playing for hours per session.
