Would You Rather, Day 237 - secrets

^^

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I figure that the secrets of creation would take much longer to figure out, if it's even feasible to. The human brain, while intricately complex and beautiful, will be figured out eventually, perhaps within the next few hundred years.

Why is the God of Hyperdeath SO...DARN...CUTE!?

Also, if anyone has their mind corrupted by an anthropomorphic black latex bat, please let me know. I would like to join you.

Yep. Machine learning, while not quite there yet, is making huge leaps and bounds and getting a lot closer to being able to think like humans and have the same mental capacity as humans.

Creation. Finally an answer to whether or not god/gods exist and if so which one/s.

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

What do you mean when you say the secrets of creation?

As in the creation of the universe?

"God" is a race of higher beings and reality is a complex computer simulation they are running.

Damn. This line should be put in a movie.

Secret of human brain....

The only reason you'd want to know the secret of "creation", is if you're religious/atheist and you want to ridicule the other group by "proving" you're right.

It's completely useless knowledge otherwise, unlike the secret of the human brain, which can lead to various cures for mental illness and what not.

pretty sure creation means everything in the universe back wards forwards in all time and space, knowledge will literally be infinite.

How many gigabytes or storage would a artificial brain need...

I recall hearing somewhere(my genius brother, I think?) that the human brain has a capacity of around 2 petabytes. I'm not entirely certain on that, though.

Edit: Just checked Google, and it said that the human brain has around 2.5 petabytes of storage. So, I was fairly close. I suppose an artificial brain may need more than that depending on how accurately it would store memories and stuff like that.

Online sources say from a couple gigabytes to a couple petabytes. I think what's more astounding is that the brain as a single entity "acts" as a cpu, storage drive, ram, interface processor, motherboard, and probably a lot more equatable things. Brain processes information, "caches" it in short term memory (ram), stores memories, thoughts, and ideas like a storage drive, works like a gpu to take information and create a visual perception of even thoughts, not just sight, it works as the interconnect between all the separate lobes of the brain like a motherboard, and it processes interface inputs like nerves kinda like IO ports on a mobo. The brain is one crazy AIO.
