I'm from Tennessee I love the surrounding areas, the country side, and mountains but i hate the country accents and racism that goes on.

Cape Town, South Africa but seeing how we're speaking of states and my country is divided into provinces my 'state' would be Western Cape.

 

Love: the people, the area really like you'll find some of the most beautiful places like restaurants on table mountain for example.

 

Hate: striking lol, yeah I was suppose to start my final exams a month ago (University) but students had other plans...

New Hampshire.

Love: people here are down-to-earth AF. Not those prissies out west. If you don't get offended easily, people here are super nice.

The State Motto: Live Free or Die. Not exactly the most accurate thing in the world, but... it's nice.

The weather - we get all four seasons here to their bitter extremes, and it's awesome. Don't know anywhere else with seasons quite like it.

Location - 15 miles from the ocean, an hour from the mountains, and as much dirt-cheap wood as I could want or need.

We also make proper maple syrup.

No sales tax

No state income tax

Petrol is $1.97 down the road.

 

Hate: The political atmosphere. Being the swing state and first in the primaries, it gets really messy. And here I am, hardcore centralist with leanings towards the benefits of European Socialism, stuck in the middle. All of them hate me because I don't agree 100% with any of them. 

No-one outside of New England knows where New Hampshire is.

Massachusetts - don't worry, they hate us too, it's a mutual hatred-appreciation relationship.

Nobody here knows jack-shit about computers. And there are no stores here either.

The sun always sets at 6pm, regardless of DST, season, time of year, whatever, because the horizon is right above your head, at the tops of ALL THESE DAMNED TREES.

And there are no vending machines because

It isn't Japan.
