I never really paid attention to electronics during Christmas times... Is there any good deals that go on during that time?

You are paying 3000$ for your build, but still buy a 30$ keyboard and mouse combo? Might want to buy a sound card to really push that headset.

I don't feel like chipping a lot to my keyboard and mouse honestly, and the onboard solution for the headset should be good enough. Though I've pondered on it.
