Got a old n2600 atom laptop....

Forgot I had thus but wasn't sure if I shouldon't flog it or can anyone tell me if there's anything I can do to make it better in terms of upgrades.

Also what is the performance compared to say a tegra 3 android tablet nowadays.

Not sure if it'd worth it but was thinking it be a nice laptop to browse upon but it's damn slow

buy an ssd and/or more ram, that's about all you can do.

Windows 7 starter. Should I upgrade to windows 10.

Iso the atom still okay for browsing nowadays and watching 720p video. Should do since it has a hdmi out

Yeah ram to 2gb but would a ssd make a big difference.

So can anyone tell me what is the equivalent in terms of atom processor. Similar to tegra 3?. Only as because someone has offered to trade a tf101 Asus transformer

-it's faster than a tegra 3 afaik (but the tegra 3 ain't exactly new)

-attempting any upgrade would be a waste of money, but the easiest one would be adding an ssd

-just install a lightweight linux distro

The reason I ask is because I need to get a pOwer adapter to get it working.

It's still usable. Like I said, throw Windows 8.1 on it

It's as powerful as an Atom N2600 in terms of tablet CPUs. No, really.

There is no at n2600 in tablets.

All I want to do is browse, watch videos and download stuff
