Stock Intel Cooler?

I cannot afford nor do i need a new cooler since i don't have a K processor, but how can i make my stock cooler look awesome? I want it to look good in this build.

They do for like 15 bucks, if you mess up just go after market for like 30.

you could probably paint the plastic frame red to match the other components (not the fan though).

Aftermarket 980Ti >= Fury X >= Reference 980Ti > Fury > 980 > 390X > 390 >= 970 > 380X > 380 >= 960 > 950 >= 370 > 750Ti = 360

i think so, i've seen it done, i wouldn't do it personally as it probably makes the already poor cooling performance even worse.

May I ask why you are getting a z97 board with a locked CPU?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

NO, it won't work if you do that, aka it will trap heat

Not if you get heat conductive paint.

You mean the heat sink? I wouldn't because it will affect temperatures, especially on something that isn't too good from the start.

Btw, the plastic fan part can be taken off easily from the heats sink.

Also use plastidip because it peels off pretty easily.

Also again, if you paint the fan it'll become unbalanced and heavier and more likely to fail

Yes i know its a non K cpu... I like the look of two boards, this and the MSI gaming one, they are the same price and i might as well go z97 so i can upgrade to a 4690k to overclock later on

Not if you get heat conductive paint.

Even then it will lower performance due to thermal transfer between two different mediums, I did edit my comment to not be so absolute though.

Not sure how much a CM 212 Evo is there, but it is far better than a stock cooler and looks great. They are sub £20 here so I'd do that if that is also the case there.

I'd suggest getting a good cooler now since it'll help keep that CPU cool and since it's non-K you can get most anything for good temps.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.
