How to Shorten a Link

Paytend01

Could use bit.ly and customize it to bit.ly/LTTBeginnersGuide.

If it's not already taken.

Need to make a bit.ly account to customize I believe.

That's html code, you need to use BBCode.

AKA: what @EChondo typed out

Remove the text coloring/formating, highlight your text and click on the eraser icon in the editing box at the top left.

Still confused

Try removing the formatting (Press Edit > Ctrl + A > Second button in the top right (an eraser))

works for me:

No problem.

Just break down the code.

[url=LINK HERE]Text you want clickable[/url]// Example[url=https://www.google.com/]Google[/url]

Google

The text becomes red when I use the "code" button because of "//", but if you type it out or use the above mentioned methods to make a clickable link with the paperclip icon you shouldn't have a problem.

*Edit, here I made a gif really quick;

dm74WCR.gif

Just type whatever you want, highlight it, then click the little paperclip icon and paste the link in the URL line and click OK. It should do all the formating for you.
