Softmodded Original Xbox Not Recognized By PC (FTP)

I'm trying to FTP to my softmodded Xbox to copy my games to my PC, and I can't get any FTP software to recognize it.

 

I connect my PC to my Xbox with a crossover cable, set the correct IP address and everything of the Xbox in Qwix, hit connect and it still doesn't work. I've tried disabling my firewall, but that doesn't make a difference. All FTP software I've used is giving me the same problem. Giving the Xbox a dynamic IP address doesn't do anything, either.

 

Any ideas?

I think you need to set a static IP for your PC's Ethernet adapter, if you don't do that you are not going to be able to connect them.

Your firewall is not the problem.

You need to change this

Your new IP (on your PC) must be different from the one on the Xbox.

You should be able to connect after that.
