Linus Relationship Tips.... >.>

There tends to be a huge Nvidia bias here.

I got hated on, as well as called an "AMD fanboy" the other day for saying it was a mistake to buy my 780.

But being an NVidia fanboy is fine here though

Odd. I mean I do prefer NVIDIA cards myself, but I have my own personal reasoning for that. Glad I haven't encountered any users like that.

I would certainly trade a 780 for a 390; mostly for the vRAM.

At this point in time I would trade my 780 for a 390.

I'd honestly keep my dual 960's over dual 380's. I fucking love these things, they're cool, quiet, perform amazingly, look badass, and have all the features I'm into.

Lol date dude, you're pretty clueless.

Yes I am pretty clueless at this stuff... I haven't really ever been on a date before lol I did technically once before but i don't class that time as a date since it didn't feel like one

I just use it as a general term to refer to a person

Probably all the features that the green team have over the red? Red do have a lot of muscle and are a lot cheaper though.

I think most of the Forum members know that in the 200-400$ range AMD takes the cake but for less than 200$ and over 400$ it's NVidia. Also I think most members know that the AMD CPU lineup is pretty weak and going with an Intel CPU even a low end one gives you the option to upgrade to a great one in the future.

AMDs CPUs take the cake in multi core if I remember correctly, however they lack severely in per core.

I got a 280 for my friend for 200 CAD. IMO AMD is the way under 450$. 450$ CAD gets you a 390, while with Nvidia you get a 970. Given the state of Nvidia's drivers right now I would go with the 390.

Odd. I mean I do prefer NVIDIA cards myself, but I have my own personal reasoning for that. Glad I haven't encountered any users like that.

Yeah me too. A big thing for me is shadowplay, but I heard AMD has something like it so I might switch when I need a new GPU.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

The R9 390 isn't powerful enough to utilize 8GB's of VRAM.

What do you mean? I'm on NVIDIA drivers and have had zero problems, and I haven't heard of others having problems either. Do you mean the game ready drivers?

I've had quite a few performance issues with Windows 10.

I've changed nothing but OS and it was fine on 7, leading me to believe it is NVidia's drivers. It's not the best science, but at least it's gotten a bit better.

IDK the difference between regular and "game ready" lol

I've had -10 issues on Windows 10. I think it might just be because of early Windows 10 stuff and bugs for you. I don't know many or any people who have been having any actual issues (other than privacy) with Windows 10.

I've had endless issues with the start menu not working, and my original install had a massive memory leak.

OFC I can't blame either of those on Nvidia

Did you try a fresh install, like clean with no carry over files?

Yes, on my second install. Got rid of the memory leak. Apparently the start menu thing is a common issue.

Hm, well in updates to come I'm sure all (pretty much all) of these bugs will be fixed. I have faith in good ol' microsoft. :)

Why do girls have to be so confusing? It would be much simpler if that just shared their thoughts and feelings like guys do. Almost as if they are an alien race.

In other news, aafew days ago I got attacked by two very scary things combined in one- a ladybug. Bugs and girls scare me.
