It's both. Ant Man is a superhero, but it was specifically designed to follow the same patterns of heist movies since his objective is to steal an item that would prevent the villain from succeeding.

It was fine. Just wasn't as good as the other two, in my opinion. Especially when Julia Roberts as Tess Ocean pretended to be Julia Roberts. That was a low point in the story I didn't think it recovered from.
