Choosing the right graphic card or cards

Hey guys and gals. For my build I want to be able to play AAA games at 1440(2k) at 60fps or better. I already have all of my parts picked. I'll be playing Fallout 4, Witcher, AC and others. Would I need a single 980, 980sli, or a 980Ti. I've been trying to find comparisons videos but not too much luck. Thanks for the help!

Start with a 980Ti and see how you get on. 

 

Can't really comment myself as I don't play AC or the Witcher, but my R9 290 can play GTA V and Battlefield 4 at 1440p with mainly high settings and no anti analyzing with relatively no issues.

980 Ti will work beautifully, or Fury X if you can get it cheaper than the 980 Ti. 980 and 390x should do well.

970 SLI is fine, but 980ti would be the better option.

A Fury(non-x) Crossfire setup will beat the 980 at 1440P

At 4K the fury beats the 980ti SLI but at 1440p the 980ti SLI does beat the fury(non-x) CF

In that case the 980Ti would be your best choice. A 980 would be solid but wont get you that 1440p gaming 60fps w/o compromising in settings. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487142&cm_re=980_Ti-_-14-487-142-_-Product. This one is $600 after a $30 mail and rebate. Well worth it if you have the money.

I like that one, I think I want to spend the extra 70 to get the one that has a AIO liquid cooler on there
