RGB K70 NOW or wait 2016?

I'm buying my first mechanical keyboard and so far i'v chosen to buy the k70 as of this moment since it has everything i want and need plus it's in my budget range (top end) 

also it's available in my country (philippines, south east asia) 

 

the only thing stopping me now is that it's almost 2016 and i'm sure corsair will follow-up with a new version of it..

so i'm basically asking if should i buy now? (december is when i have my money) or wait for the next line-up from corsair

 

cause i'v been searching around the internet and i'v found no leakage of new product line-ups from corsair besides the RGB strafe(which is also nice but i want the aluminium material and volume scroll wheel) 

 

can anyone out there help convince myself to wait? hahaha so tempted.

 

note: if i do buy now i won't be able to sell it to buy a new one anytime soon, budget is really important to me since i'm just a medical student and being supported by my parents. the money i get is from side jobs and skipping meals lol

They wont release a new version as the K70 RGB just came out... so just get it now. SIGE NA BRO

hahaha samoka, its actually been a few months right? do you think they will have a new one early 1st quarter next year?

What does Samoka mean?  :lol:

 

They probably will, but it won't be in the K70/K95/K65 (RGB or non-RGB) mechanical series.

 

Get the K70 now, it's a fantastic keyboard and I have one myself.

I would get the K70 now. I havent heard anything about a new RGB lineup to replace the K series. But if i did i guess i couldnt tell you but i would tell you to wait in that case

They just released strafe. K series is not going to go away or get forgotten.

Just look how long K70 has been around

If they release new keyboard it will be called something completely different and surely have rgb lighting.

wahahahaha kayata.     Nindot man ang K70 RGB bro.... for the first few months. RGB lighting is really just a gimmick. Trust me, ma bored ra kag tinan.aw sa mga lighting effects after a few months. I actually kinda regretted my purchase. If you're more into the build quality, then I guess the regular K70 is enough. It's cheaper, has the extra WASD & 1-6 keys, a keycap puller and a USB pass through which the K70 doesn't have.  Or hell, a cheapo CM Storm keyboard would've been enough for me.
