When will the older versions of windows not be able to upgrade?

July 28th next year I believe. But, if you upgrade, MSX (Windows 10) will be free forever. You never have to pay for your copy.

I used to be quite active here.

As long as you upgrade before the final day (july 28 2016), it will stay activated and "free" for you, for ever.

After that, if you haven't upgraded or upgrade the motherboard, you will need to buy it.

It will be free for one year after the release. Which as the guys above said, July 28 2016.
