Audiophile Headphones.

I need amazing headphones.

Wireless is really nice.

Detachable cord is a MUST.

Under $200, can go a bit above.

Having a mic is highly preferred.

Remember that different people's ears like different sounds so the brand and price isn't exactly everything. Try on a few pairs instead of just buying the most expensive thing in your price range :P Try the Audio Technica m50x while you're out looking. I have heard great things about the Hyperx Cloud II but I haven't tried them yet. I will soon tho!

Generally audiophile and wireless don't go hand in hand but there are some expensive options that try their best to overcome the limitations of wireless.

The only headphone I can think of that sort of audiophile-y and has a detachable cable is the m50x.

If memory serves the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless that was recently released. Supposed to sound similar to the M-100 so long as you are ok with that sound signature they offer.

Read what i said. I said AUDIOPHILE not good. Thats very different. I agree they make good headphones, but nothing audiophile.

No, you're wrong.

Do you even know what "audiophile" quality sound means? I could really use an explanation.

What products would you put in an "audiophile" type of setup?

HD598's + ModMic?

HD 558 are virtually the same, cheaper, and a more neutral color.

Sony does make "audiophile" headphones.

Sony does make "audiophile" headphones.

Not to mention, they made "THE" headphone way back in the 80's (I think), at least as far as non-electrostats go... The Sony MDR-R10.

Unless you're going by the definition:

au·di·o·phile

An elitist asshole.

Then yeah.

Best definition to-date.
