NZ prices are terrible.. I payed $1249 for a 980ti.

That's $420 USD, for those wondering.

Then it's not so bad. Seems like a little bit higher prices than in EU countries.

@RZeroX Is it economical to have some one in the US buy it here and then ship it to you?

Most parts I buy I import into New Zealand from amazon US, either directly through amazon or an import system set up by our national postal service.

 

No one in NZ should buy GPUs, CPUs RAM, SSDs locally if you're budget conscious, unless a local warranty is very important to you.

Their dollars aren't the same as US dollars, so that by itself isn't a direct comparison. It'd be the same concept as comparing one US dollar to one Japanese yen. 

 

Plus, there's also the inflated Kiwi price just for being imported.
