Looking for a reliable Z97 ATX mobo

This one has most of the bells and whistles I need, including S/PIDF output, ATX form factor, multiple physical 16x slots and generally all black/mostly black finish.

I'm planning to have a 280x and 7970 GHz in Cross fire until I buy a future current gen card and my mATX mobo just can't fit 2 cards plus my Noctua NH-D14.

Any other suggestions in this price point ($199 CAD/$150 USD), or any complaints about this one specifically?

-Thanks

for 150$ i would say msi gaming 5 is the most solid mobo :P

That or the asus-a (if it fits your price range)

I've been debating over that, I have the Z97m from MSI now and I can't complain about performance but its just too small right now.

Thanks for the input.

How about the Sabertooth Mark2? Does that still receive a vote of confidence, cause I prefer the colour scheme on it. Its a little less in your face about its beige.

Just realized the Debug led was a big plus on my MSI Z97M. I'm looking the Asus Hero VII open box on newegg for $160 CAD. Good buy?

Check out the Z97-AR from ASUS bought mine back in March for $150USD finally got my system built 2 weeks ago. So far its been really stable, on a stock cooler I was able to overclock my 4790k to 4.4GHz across all 4 cores @1.125V on a stock intel cooler (saving for an H100i GTX) seems to be running stable so far.

Was able to validate it on CPU-Z http://valid.x86.fr/q23kbb

and scored an 877 on Cinebench r15

I have that exact motherboard and love it. The included braided sata cables are a nice tough and really look nice through a side window. The board is built like a brick shit house too.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
