I saw the requirements for max settings in Fallout 4 and I'm a bit worried my rig won't be able to do it. I game at 1080p and my processor is what concerns me.

Specs:

Intel i7 3770k

EVGA 980 Ti SC ACX 2.0

16 GB (2x8) Crucial RAM DDR3

Don't worry. You won't have any problems playing Fallout 4 at max settings with those specs.

AAA games always inflate their settings recommendations.

Not only that, we can't tell you--you'll have to find out for yourself when it comes out.

Edit: Looking at your specs, you have nothing to worry about anyways. That processor shouldn't be a bottleneck for anything really.

You will be fine for max/ultra settings.  At the worst, you change a thing or two to very high (example, shadows).

I am right there with you. I did play the Battlefront Beta and the requirements are very similar. GPU wise I maxed out everything with room to spare, CPU wise I ran hotter than with any stress test I have ever used. I switched to Arctic Silver 5 in hopes of helping in long sessions of gaming.  Hope this helps.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

How do you know that? There have been no images or videos released showing it on PC. Everything you see is on the Xbox One...

nobody is going to redesign the whole game asset library for PC. not worth the money for them.

What are you talking about? The graphics are severely nerfed on the Xbox, that's all we've seen of the game is nerfed graphics. How can you judge a PC game by how it looks on console?

Don't you worry a bit, that's a beast computer and you shouldn't run into any problems.

Depends on where he lives, for example, I live in a third world country in a city with population of 40'000, the only way someone will hire you for a part-time job is if you have connections.

Not only that, but the minimum wage is 340$, now imagine if you only work on saturtdays and sundays, it will take a whole eternity to earn enough money for a new gpu.

While on the other end my friend is currently in England and is making 4-5x more money than he would in our country and can afford anything he wants.

But yeah, in first world countries you can earn enough money for a powerfull PC just by working in the summer, which is really great.

Depends where you live - part-time pay here is 100$ per month - a 980 Ti costs 1000$.

So you're not being serious. You had me going.

Just saying they could fuck up. It's happened before.

And Bethesda made Watch Dogs? The system requirements for Watch Dogs was the same as Fallout 4? Think things through man. You took a jab because you didn't know all the captures were from the Xbox. You're right that we have no idea what the game will look like until it releases and we're playing it on serious hardware. But you didn't start with possibility, you made a judgment statement based off of incomplete intelligence. so we can wait and see, or you can keep digging.
