Riot bans G2A sponsorship from World Championship

That sucks for G2A. It will mean even more people will conceive them as a scam site. :(

 

From my experience they are. Two keys I purchased from them were already used when I got them and I went through hell to get refunds.

 

Shame on me fore giving them a second chance.

I know they we're sketchy but I trusted them with a couple non-expensive game keys but just because of sponsorship it had... one thing for sure after this though I ain't buying shit from them.

I purchased three games so far and haven't had an issue, and sold two games. Your bad experiences doesn't mean the site itself is a scam, just the people you dealt with.

Dam.. For RIOT to drop you as a sponsor is a pretty big deal, LoL is absolutely massive.

 

G2A has probably got to be sad, they will lose A LOT of publicity for this.

 

I think they won't lose a lot of publicity because it might draw people to check their website to see if they are indeed selling LoL accounts (I actually went to their site and checked and man was I shocked).

 

I think it's because in 2013 there was loads of hype around one of the players in the finals.

 

I think this year will be 30 million or so again, because of how well the North American teams are doing

 

lol.......too soon man CLG got demolished.

You guys do know a lot of those keys are legit right?  I know a few people that use the money they make from trading things on cs:go for steam games, then sell the games on there, or they sell their game-keys that they get with new hardware.

Doesn't matter if it's legit. They agree to pull out because they know they can't win. A while back LMG asked if we want G2A as a sponsor. I'm glad we didn't take them as a sponsor otherwise Linus would probably loose all sponsorships and tons of subscribers.

Though they may lose publicity in the long run as a result I suppose...

Yep, both times paid extra for the shield. Took two months for the first refund. Second time was a brisk three weeks. I don't know if it was because it was software rather than games but it took forever.

Selling steam accounts is highly illegal. It is like pirating but worse. Just like selling minecraft accounts. It says on the home screen DO NOT DISTRIBUTE
