The Barracuda is cheaper and probably works just as well. Also I do know about WD reliability > Seagate

Why not buy the best? I'd rather be safe than sorry later. WD :D

Also a 390 is faster than a 960...

I prefer nVidia over AMD because of bad experiences

I'm surprised this forum let you get a 960. You could do a lot better than that lol.

They recommended 980 TI's

You can get better performance for the same price with an AMD card, especially with DX12. Please do not buy a 960, you will die in the newest games next year.

Get a 390 or similar.

This I'd change:

I'd get a 250GB SSD (Sata 3) instead of the M.2 Even if the speeds are very different, 120GB is too small (using a 120GB drive right now), it's pretty much Windows and a single big program (or game) and that's it. I'd recommend Crucial BX100 250GB, it's $80.

GPU. While the GTX 960 is an amazing 1080p GPU, you are aiming for 120+FPS. Get a R9 390 or a GTX 970, both GPUs are really competitive, and not that different in price. Lot more powerful too.

My other two critiques are more taste-oriented. First one is the case, it's ok if you like the gamer look, IMO it's a plastic tacky case. Second one is the headset, it's quite expensive for what it is. Why don't you evaluate the option of a separated headphone and microphone? For someone that is looking to stream, a good quality microphone is a world changer, most top streamers are not using a headset solution.

I would consider a different power supply. Corsair or evga.

Intel i7-4790K Processor, 32 GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3-1600 RAM, ASUS Z-87 Pro Motherboard, Corsair RM 750 PSU, 250 GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD, 2 x 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDDs, ASUS GeForce GTX 970 STRIX GPU, Corsair Carbide 500R Case, AFT Pro-77U Card Reader, Dell UltraSharp 24 Monitor – U2415, Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920, Windows 9 (Windows 10 with StartIsBack++)

I'm talking about SSD space. There are several programs and tasks that take benefit from faster storage, the OS is one example; but frequently used applications and files stored in a fast drive also are, ever heard about scratch disks for video editing? It's basically a directory where you dump the heavy files you are working on to improve access times with the editing software.

He is doing Video editing though, so an i7 (Or Xeon) will be more beneficial than an i5.

he could change it out for a xeon e3 then....if they come out soon
