R9 390 Nitro vs Evga GTX 970 FTW

I would keep the 970 even though it performs worse because I use shadowplay a lot, and I like lower power consumption and temps

also I prefer GFX and nvidia control panel to gameDVR and CCC

Yep - Hawaii(Grenada) maxes out at 95*C, the rest can go up to 85*C. Nvidia Kepler maxed at 80*C IIRC before thermalthrottling and Maxwell goes to 85*C.

coil whine can happen for the first week or so till a card gets settled in, I think I posted that already though. Not sure - my PSU had a louder buzz the first 2-3 days then became quiter than a mouse. When reseating my card it whined for a day then stopped.

 

Just wanted to make sure the card was problem free, if the coil whine isnt there on their test machines its probably just my machine causing it, might try and change my PSU for an EVGA G2, then i can also replace my case while im at it, i am so tired of my CM Trooper case, such a piece of shi..

Even tho i said i was done with CM, i kinda admit i really like the new CM MasterCase Pro 5, both the insde and outside looks really nice and clean.

 

My choice is most likely gonna be either the MasterCase Pro 5 or the Phanteks Luxe, i also really do love that.

Then it should be the new edition with better airflow, but im not a big fan of the H440.

 

Will be a fight between MasterCase Pro 5, Phanteks Enthoo Luxe or the Corsair Obsidian 750D. There are alot of people selling the Obsidian series around here lately, might be able to get one cheaper used.
