Nope. Dont ever buy cheap PSUs, they are a fire hazard.

Rule number one in building PC's is only ever go with "Good" brand name PSU's. More people than I care to count have come to me with problems due to low end PSU's.

He's literally running only two fans off of it. 10 watts max.

Ehhhh.... The fans wont cost too much if the PSU kills them, but if it catches fire, that can be an issue.

 

TBH, since you are putting such a little load on it, it will likely be fine. While they can catch fire, its more likely to happen under peak power draw...

The Corsair CX is fine for what you want to do with a PSU.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

from experience... most crappy psus burn rather contained...

 

but yeah, i wouldnt leave that alone for extended amount of time...
