Adblock?

so i got adblock the other day based on your guys' suggestions. do the content creators still get paid as if the ad was loaded, because i think it technically was, or do they really get nothing from it? if so, can i turn off adblock for specific sites and YouTube channels? ( i feel pretty guilty )

with adblock they get nothing which is why alot of sites will say that they notice you have it disabled and ask you to enable it or support them in some other way

 

you can white list certain sites like this one that arent obnoxious with the ads

Just turn it off for sites you want making ad revenue. If you use ublock (microblock) then whitelisting is as easy as pressing the button in your browser on the site you like.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

No, adblock makes creators not get money

add = + = addition

ad = advertisement

some people dont know the difference

 

doesnt matter really, as long as the point gets accross

nope, content creators dont get money when you use an adblocker.  just whitelist sites you want to support

sorry, i didn't mean to sound mean. It's just im constantly seeing "adds" instead of "ads" and it's super annoying xD thank you
