How to stop blocks from reappearing in Minecraft?

Nah, it's fine. But compared to earlier versions like 1.6 and even 1.7, Minecraft 1.8 in general is very heavy on computer resources, much more than it should be.

Not even Optifine can fix the problems with 1.8.8, believe me lol

ok i just tried 1.8.8 amplified and the block lag is terrible!!!!! im gonna try 1.8.1 optifine now..

edit: i just tried 1.8.1 optifine on the same world and no block lag, try that

Did just that. It happens sometimes, but only when I'm outside chopping trees.

Reinstalled Java 8 to java 7(heard that works better for minecraft)

I tried to do that once, but oracle took down all java 7 downloads

so Im stuck with 8, but it works ok for me

If minimum didn't matter, why isn't it at 2bytes?

you can set xmn to 8GB too, and the game will actually not use it all

press f3 and you can see it will use like 2 or 3GB but not actually 8
