When I was 14 my bike was stolen, I knew who had done it because the guy showed up the next day with parts from my bike added to his. I submitted an anonymous tip to CPS saying that his parents were beating him and after an investigation it turned out to be true.

Exchanging my phone number on a buddy's phone with the one of his very hot neighbor, making him stand at her door with a basket of strawberries and some condoms, while her parents opened the door.

 

As a result of very drunk "truth of dare" peeing into a baptism pool [was like 13 at that time lawl]

 

and so on and so forth :D

Here you get Beer, Wine and the likes at 16 [some regions have raised it to 18 by now]

 

And spirits such as Whisky and Vodka you get 18+.

 

Cigarettes used to be 16+ but are 18+ now aswell.

I don’t think swearing is actually banned in and of itself. Only when it is used in a negative context such as trolling, bullying or just being plain nasty is it really a serious thing.

 

 

Also I do not think that swearing is inherently immature, they are just words after all. Just because someone uses a "bad word" does necessarily diminish the credibility of what they are saying.

I guess the point of it is having a little more control of the sales and it's harder to kill yourself with Beer than it is with Vodka ^^

I think swearing is part of language (however  odd it might be considering some of the words we choose to be swear words) and any medium that has humans communicating with each other should expect there to be some swearing going on.

 

I am not saying that it’s okay for every other word someone types to be a swear word, but I do not think it is right to completely ban swearwords.

Few years ago, in junior high school, one guy tried to strangle me by pulling the hood of my sweatshirt by ''accident'' and it ended up when I punched him in the face right afterwards, breaking his glasses. I got about a 60€ fine for new glasses. Haven't caused physical pain for anyone since then.

 

By looking at the other forum posts on this thread, I think I deserve the psychical bullying that I've had since preschool to this day (still continues).
