an i3 or an i5 paired up with a 280x would be better

but an i5 with a 290 is even better :)

hitachi has a higher failure rate than seagate and WD but whatever floats ur boat 

actually they dont and the one i chose is the ultrastar which is more geared towards enterprise stuff
