Telltale games: Walking dead saves.....gone.

I'm sure you all already know this, but me, a PC gamer and who never games on mobile devices (other than the walking dead..). There are no cloud-savegame files. 

 

 

 

Go to start season 2 on a new device after trading in my old phone. All the characters are whack, everything is wrong. Crap. I frantically went throgh my microSD cards, and, must have installed on-device

 

Alas, I have been spoiled by steam. Little did I know I needed to go all "early 2000's" on my savegame files in order to not loose progress

 

 

 

How different is season two if it's based on season 1's saved games? It's been a LONG time since I played season 1, but unfortunately I do remember alot of it, so its not quite starting fresh.

I just thought season 2 was meh, I gave up after a while.
