LGA 1151 cooler

The only coolers that I can find that fit this socket are DeepCool ones, and I would rather not use those. Is the actual shape of the socket exactly the same as something like 1150 so that a 1150 will fit, or do only DeepCool ones fit it for some strange reason?

Pretty much every LGA 1150 cooler will fit on LGA 1151

I own an i5-6600K, and I'm using a Corsair H80i that I bought for my last system (LGA-1156). All LGA-115x sockets have the same cooler mounting holes, so it does not need to specify LGA-1151 support.

I JUST finished mounting a Noctua NH-D14 to an i5-6600K on an Asus Z170-A motherboard in a Fractal Design R5 case. That damn heat sink is massive! but it fit fine. Mounted to the processor and motherboard with absolutely ZERO deviation from the LGA-1150 instructions.
