Intel CPU

AMD GPU.

Or Nvidia GPU. Depends on the budget. Most areas AMD is better but Nvidia does have a few areas.

Want to find out truly, what is better in terms of GPUs and CPUs in order to make a final decision. If commenting, please give full answers backing up your opinion.

 

Intel > AMD, The single and multi-threaded performance of Intel processors cannot really be matched by even AMD's highest end processors (If you're comparing something like the 8350 to an i5 4690k, ofc the 8350 will be better for multi-tasking, but compare the 8350 to an i7 4790k and that story changes.), sure the Intel option may be more expensive, but it's also quite a bit more powerful. (Not to mention Xeons which are essentially locked i7s without integrated graphics)

Short answer though,

CPU: Intel overall.

GPU: pretty even atm. I would say AMD is better at entry-mid range but Nvidia at the highest end performance

There is no way around it - Intel is superior in the CPU market, but in regards to GPU i think AMD is doing well

CPU wise, if your not gaming the go for AMD like a htpc build or casual grandma's PC

 

GPU Wise it just depends on your budget. they're both good for the certain catagorey they compete aginst AMD/NVIDIA
