What's so exciting about a 5450?

PierreCCesario
Go to solution Solved by SkilledRebuilds,

It's primarily for GPU-assisted Video decoding (although modern iGPU's do this anyway) and multiple display outputs.

So what's up with the card? I may sound stupid to you guys... But is there any hate on this card? lol idk. Just leave your comments down below about what this card is..

It is an iGPU sold separately.

THE ONLY TIME it is worth it, is if you need a different display output to what your motherboard has.

(I have seen one used like that at work)

It's primarily for GPU-assisted Video decoding (although modern iGPU's do this anyway) and multiple display outputs.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Even cheaper again is the 7790 (same card before rebrand).

Finding a 2GB model is a bit harder though... But I found a 2GB HD7790 /w warranty left for $60 used.
