This opens up a lot of possibilities for custom loops in SFF cases.

I just want EK to make a pump/cpu block combo unit

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Best AIO? Eh, I think Swiftech's AIOs are nicer.

H240-Xx800.jpg

And their 280mm one fits in cases like the NZXT S340.

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P
If it's not broken, take it apart and fix it.

Awesome. Was waiting to see how these work out, being from a more serious water cooling company.

You mean the reservoir? Cause the pump can be detached and placed elsewhere.

I don't like it, the way the predator is designed looks much cleaner & nicer IMO.

And yeah the reservoir & pump.

I can't wait to see an actual review where it gets compared against other things.  I hope OC3D gets one, his reviews are god-tier.

Jay hinted of doing a comparison with the corsair H100i GTX and the Swiftech 220-x

So how do you connect a GPU to this? If I watercool a GPU I'd never go half ass with a Kraken G10 and an asetek cooler since I'd want to cool the memory and VRM too, so it would be pretty nice to see a really high quality AIO like this that could be used with a good GPU waterblock.

you drain the AIO and detach some tubing and insert a gpu block in with some extra fittings

The water block (supremacy mx) and radiator (coolstream pe) is significantly than swiftech h240x.

You would want to get the 360 version instead as it has higher dissipation and includes a quick disconnect fitting.

Well it's thicker. "Moar Cooling, Such Radiator, Much TDP, Wow"

But it doesn't fit in  a small case like my NZXT S340.

Nice. I don't anticipate buying one, but that's an awesome design for people who do.

Thicker radiator doesn't necessarily mean it cools better.

There are variables such as materials used, fins per inch, internal design, restriction, fan speed, etc...

The Swiftech block is copper, the radiator is copper, EK is mostly known as better because they make so many blocks that they cover nearly all enthusiast hardware compatibility. I think EK and Swiftech are on the same quality level.

It looks like those fittings are also meant to be used as extensions for later products to attach to it, as you can see the GPU block has the same QDCs as well.

EK objectively is better not because they make many blocks or the perception that they are "better" but because data shows it.

Just look at data comparing it vs other manufacturers (like on xtremesystems, ocn, xtremerigs, etc...) and EK is always near top the charts.
