use 26.6 and if 4.3ghz isnt stable at 1.15v then bump  it up to 1.18v, try it again, then if its still not stable bump it up by 0.1, so 1.19v etc.

Multiple programs say its running at 3.5 when I have it set for 4.2...

I did hit apply. and i'm running the intel benchmark.

send me a screenshot bud of the settings, at the side it should say "default and proposed"

 

i dont think the benchmark is working properly, 3.5ghz is the stock speed.

well its set to 4.2Ghz, id use prime95 version 26.6 to test it, and use cpu-z for the core reading.

Multiplier keeps capping at 35 instead of 42.

It bumped its voltage back up to 1.3 ><

4.3 caused crash. what do I up the voltage to?

Prime95 keeps pushing it past 80C; Reduced the OC to 3.9 and it's still doing it. V goes up to 1.174.

 if it helps this is my 4690k running the new prime95 torture test for max temperatures.

i know this is hort but it was stable for 24h post-182144-0-39685400-1441474951_thumb.
