860K will give you pretty much the same performance for a cheaper price on both the CPU and motherboard.

 

If you can afford a 4350 plus a decent AM3+ board though, chances are you can stretch to an i3 and a low end H81.

Get a I3-4100 series CPU!  It is amazing, and will beat out the 4350 in pure gaming! If you want upgradability, get a affordable z97 mobo!

What's the difference if people use a FX8? Some games don't even utilize the 8cores so it's basically a fx4. The FX4 is fine for a budget build and will run games just fine but an i3 is better for the upgrading in the future. As stated before the 860k,would be a better choice if budget can't support an i3.

Beat? No the i3 is like an fx6 in most games. But a ton of games won't utilize the full 6 cores so it's like a fx4. They are similar the on,y reason to consider it is for upgradbility. Also a H97 board will be fine because most people who get a budget CPU don't upgrade for awhile and a locked i5 is more then enough

Go with a i5-4460 and please change your GPU cause 750Ti is definitely gonna bottleneck

How is he supposed to fit cpu+mobo+gpu in a 160$ budget ?

 

And to OP, if you can, low end i3 is probably the best for you.

BF4 is ONE of the FEW that runs well on AMD CPU's.

 

Don't base the computer off a single experience you've seen/read/heard about. (If thats the case)

Best Buy says the will price match.

Heck I got my cpu, gpu, MB and 8 gig ram for just over 160 bucks

And I LOVE my A10 7850k, I play BF4 and Crysis 3, I shoot,they die.....I don't need to see their intenstines in 1080:)

I have seen fx6300 with MB for 96 bucks and 8320 with MB for 155 or soo.

With your 750 your rig would smoke mine with either choice

What motherboard you got? Also the Athlon X4 860K is better if you need a new motherboard...
